National Tourism Week
In celebration of National Tourism Week May 8-16, 2010, the Douglasville Convention and Visitors Bureau will be awarding the top hospitality workers at the Coffee Card Exchange on Thursday, May 13th on O'Neal Plaza. From amongst all the winners, one person will be awarded the "Hospitality Worker of the Year" award. We will also be awarding two organizations who have the most "Spirit."

The City of Douglasville Downtown Development Authority presents a wine tasting at historic sites throughout the downtown featuring wines from Georgia vineyards. Transportation is available.

Street dance to raise funds for the American Diabetes Association to go towards research for a cure.

Presented by the Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County. Local businesses and organizations compete for prizes in the annual Chili Cook-off. Food and entertainment for the whole family.

Presented by City of Douglasville Downtown Development Authority. Local vendors and organizations sell arts, antiques, jewelry, crafts, and memberships on the plaza. Local entertainment performs on the main stage with children’s activities on the plaza. Douglasville’s “So You Think You Can Dance” competition will also take place during the market from 1-3 p.m.
